When he slid that CD into the player in the mid 90s, he had no idea that the words on the cover were an omen: Destination Goa. Jonas Bue Jensen only knew that the sound that boomed from the speakers was absolutely stunning and that he wanted to spend more time with it. A lot more.

Almost 20 years later he’s one of the most up-and-coming music producers himself. Shifting between an astonishing variety of rhythms, grooves and atmospheres, the sound of his project Novotech reflects an eventful life that took him to both the bright side and the dark side, a life that was and still is defined by a deep passion for solid parties. As the son of a musician family he combines melodic virtuosity with the technical precision of a surgeon.

The first-ever release of Novotech, a remix of Ranji’s ‘Love Therapy‘, made it straight to number 29 in Beatport’s Psytrance charts. So it’s not exactly a surprise that he was invited to play at parties and festivals all over Europe already at the very beginning of his career.

His productions has been released on Blue Tunes Records as well as Dynamite Recordings. His highly recognized track “Drums Of War” was played by Liquid Soul in one of his dj set and later by various DJs around the globe. In 2017 Novotech is a well-established name among Trance heads worldwide – and an unmistakable indicator that there’s some seriously good times ahead on the dancefloor.
