TIP Records became an influential label in the history of goa trance. TIP was amongst the first to embrace a darker sound in goa trance and the techtrance sound (Organic Noise) before the label folded in 1998 after the collapse of their distributor Flying Records (UK).
The label reappeared under the new name of TIP.World in 1999, with a relatively new artist roster, new distributor and new electro and breaks sub label 10 Kilo.
